I’ve learned so much from this space—about you, and about myself. At first, I stayed in this role because I had to. But over time, I made sure not to let this “work” define me. It was never my whole identity.
Like many of us, I’ve had to compartmentalize—keeping certain parts of myself hidden until it felt safe enough to let them out. Encounters like these sometimes became a way to tap into that hidden self, to feel a little more whole in a world that so often tries to break us down.
