What sign are you?
Libra is my star sign, the qualities apparently being (I copied and pasted the following only adding my opinion of how each quality relates to me):
Diplomatic and Objective. Librans have the ability to listen to differing points of view with a great deal of patience. ... (I believe this rings quite true, often have I mediated an argument or debate amongst friends when passion seemed to be getting the better of the feud.)
Charming and Tactful. ... (I guess so, to a degree, I'm basically always wearing a smile... does that count as charming?)
Romantic and Idealistic. ... (Yes quite romantic at times and very idealistic)
Peaceful and Easy-Going. ... ( A peaceful world is a happy world and being easy going, willing to give and take can be very conducive to a peaceful existence)
Extroverted and Optimistic. ... (I used to be extremely extroverted, maybe not so much these days but I still enjoy a social situation from time to time.... Definitely optimistic, blindly so sometimes it seems)
Clever and Intelligent. ... (in ways yes, very much so, in others... so no!)
Spontaneous and Fun. ... (spontaneous to a fault)
Indecisive, Unreliable, and Naive
What motivates you to do your best in your job?
In two words I'd probably say compassion and reputation.
Compassion: I enjoy what I do for many reasons, one of those being the joy it brings me to provide a new or extremely special experience to someone. Now for some folks spending 300/hr on an experience is a lot of coin and I totally understand that and aim to provide the best experience I can so that they can walk away afterwards with a feeling of elation as well as being happy to have spent their money in such a way.
Reputation: In my opinion the way to be successful in this game is to build up a reliable network of regular clientele, this provides a certain level of security but it also gives me the chance to get to know some of my clients very well which enriches the experience for both parties. The best way to gain regular clientele is by providing a stand out service that people are prepared to pay for time and time again because it is a service worth paying for. Being known as someone that goes above and beyond to provide an extremely satisfying experience is reputation worth having.
What do you consider your most significant strength in life?
My rather easy going, likeable personality I would think. It has certainly done well for me up to this point. Where ever I go I end up being well received and generally walk away leaving a trail of lifelong friends. This has become quite apparent in the last couple of years as I embarked on my Journey of transition and was met with overwhelming support from everyone I know including the likes of old school aussie farmer types, hyper masculine macho jock type guys from school and some folks I thought seemed to be kinda trans/homophobic. What shines through to these people isn't what I'm wearing or what I look like, it's who I am as a person; a smiling, positive, happy-go-lucky type who's up for a chat with anyone given the chance.
